Senior Software R&D Engineer (m/f/d)

Aufgaben:
- As an R&D engineer (m/f/d), you will be part of a Scrum team developing software for the V93000 SOC test platform.
- This team is responsible for defining, designing, implementing, and testing new solutions in C++ or Java in collaboration with our customers, who are the leaders in semiconductor technology.
- You will work with a state-of-the-art development environment on high-performance Linux workstations to realize new functionalities with high quality.
- You will work as a member of a self-organized agile team following agile principles in a work environment adapted to personal and team needs.
- You will create manual and automated tests and perform exploratory testing to achieve good test coverage and gain timely feedback about progress and quality.
- You will plan and coordinate development and test activities with other development teams.
Qualifikationen:
- University degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or comparable subjects
- Extensive experience in software development of technical systems in a multi-team environment
- Deep understanding of software design concepts and methodologies
- Practical knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, and test automation
- Strong analytical mindset, data-driven problem analysis and problem-solving skills
- Good Linux knowledge
- Strong programming skills in C++ 17 or Java 21 (or newer)
- Passion for quality
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in English
- This is a plus:
- Experience in Scrum or SAFe software development processes
- Experience with large-scale software systems
- Experience with AI or ML
- Good knowledge of the software configuration management system Git
- Good understanding of integrated circuits and electronic measurement technology
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Ruby
- German language skills
